Jafet Lora is originally from Puerto Rico. He comes from a pastoral family with a history of more than 40 years in ministry. Being passionate about God, about music, about his family and about people, this worship leader and singer-songwriter reminds us that God's mercy is renewed every morning and that in God there are second chances.

He is married to Damy Lora and together they serve at the world-renowned Lakewood Church, in the city of Houston, Texas, led by Pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen, and in the Hispanic community led by Pastors Danilo and Gloriana Montero.

He has had the opportunity to collaborate musically and ministerially with recognized figures such as: Thalles Roberto, Ingrid Rosario, Danilo Montero, Miel San Marcos, Travy Joe, Elevation Worship Español, Lakewood Music, Tye Tribbett, Freddy Rodriguez, Vanessa Vissepó, among others, winning thus recognition as one of the new Hispanic voices in the United States and Latin America.​
